Payments between users
Lend a Hand is an introductions platform. We help neighbours find each other for everyday tasks, but we are not a party to any job. Posters pay helpers directly — usually in cash or by bank transfer — and the price is agreed between the two of you. We never hold, process, or take a cut of job payments. The only thing we charge for is the helper's monthly subscription for job offer tokens.
Lend a Hand is not a party to any agreement, contract or transaction between a poster and a helper. We do not hold client money, act as an escrow agent, or provide any regulated payment service. Any dispute about money owed, work performed, or quality is between the poster and the helper directly. We may use payment-related reports to inform trust signals and enforcement, but we cannot recover funds or issue refunds for job payments.
What we do charge for
Helpers pay a monthly subscription for job offer tokens. Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider on our behalf. Posting jobs is and will remain free.
